Engagement track · for Muslim nonprofits
Toolkit
Everything Ihsan Standard offers Muslim nonprofits that want to level up. The audit we run (nonprofit, masjid, or business overlay), the software we ship (a CRM, calculators, embeddable widgets), a fiqh-aware template library, shared procurement and infrastructure so your back-office stack doesn’t cost more than it should, and a short list of external resources we point orgs toward when the need is outside our scope.
Built specifically for Muslim nonprofits: fiqh-aware operational templates, audits we run end-to-end, pre-publication review, and cross-org procurement.
The audit
One audit framework, three audience overlays. Free during the pilot, NDA-backed, non-shaming — designed to bring the org closer to the published standards.
- Audit · for nonprofits
Nonprofit audit
Financials, money-collection processes, distribution mechanisms, vendor stack, banking, investments. NDA-backed, non-shaming, designed to bring the org closer to the published 10 standards.

Masjid audit
Everything the nonprofit audit covers, plus the mosque-specific overlay: community-health framework (sister programming, GOTV, dawah, etc.), iqamah times tool, cash-collection oversight, imam attestation and scholar consultation.
What the audit brings → - Audit · for businesses
Business audit
Six-dimension business audit: zakat on inventory and assets, no interest-bearing accounts, shariah-compliant investments, halal claims that hold up, community vendor commitment, regulatory standing.

Tools, calculators, and the template library
Things you can use yourself, no Ihsan Standard staff time required.
- Software · the CRM for Muslim nonprofits
Muslim Nonprofit CRM (working name: Mīzān)
A first-in-class CRM with AI-assisted operations and the world's first per-donation tracking link. Built around zakat fidelity and donor transparency the rest of the sector hasn't built yet. Free for the pilot, free for small orgs, affordable from there. Bespoke setups available.
See the CRM → - Cohort · shared infrastructure
Group Procurement
Pool buying power and share infrastructure across the cohort. Ihsan Standard runs a shared payments account, shared AWS hosting, hosted analytics, the Mīzān CRM, and custom email sending — one cheaper solution to the problems every org has. Free during the pilot.

Template Library
Fiqh-aware operational templates (zakāt policy, qurbānī SOP, kaffāra SOP, fitr timeline, fund segregation, per-donation tracking) plus Muslim-tailored versions of bylaws, COI, whistleblower, and record-retention policies.

Live Nisab — daily multi-source basket
Daily-updated gold + silver nisab from named, published sources (the NZF-standard basket). Embed it on your donate page (one line of HTML) so donors see the correct threshold at the moment of intent. Every figure is traceable — the same basket-transparency methodology behind nisabvalue.com, with each source and the averaging formula published in the open.

Zakat Calculator — the full worksheet
Cash, gold & silver (including jewelry), stocks held short- and long-term, 401(k)/IRA, receivables, trade goods, and the 12-month liability rule. Follows the methodology of Sacred Learning's widely-used zakah handbook, defaulting to scholarly-recommended positions and labeling points of difference inline — with toggles for the main alternative views. Replace the generic donate-page calculator that skips the fiqh: embed this one so your donors see the nuance and understand why. Embed on your site (one line of HTML) in any of 12 languages — route /embed/zakat.

Understanding Zakah
A guided interactive journey through the concepts behind the calculator — what zakah purifies, who pays, the zakah year, what's zakatable (with the surprising rulings), who can receive it, and the spirit of the obligation. Based on Nurturing Mountains (Sacred Learning). Orgs are encouraged to link it from their donate/zakat pages as the plain-English companion — canonical URL: ihsanstandard.org/tools/zakat/learn. Both the calculator AND this guide are embeddable on your site in any of 12 languages — guide route /embed/zakat/learn, calculator /embed/zakat.

990 Pre-Flight Check
Paste the headline numbers from the 990 you're about to file. See exactly how Ihsan Standard will read your filing once it's published — flags, fundraising efficacy, expense bucketing, cohort-percentile comp benchmarking, trend tiles. Tool itself is gated to org leadership; the explainer is public.

Payment Processor Calculator
Model the fee impact of switching processors across donation volume bands. Helcim vs. Stripe vs. PayPal vs. Stax — every dollar of fee saved is a dollar of program impact.

Sadaqa Tax Planner — DAF vs. stock vs. cash
Side-by-side comparison of giving cash annually, bundling years of giving via a donor-advised fund, and donating appreciated stock directly via Every.org. Surfaces the standard-deduction threshold most givers don't realize they're below, plus the capital-gains avoidance most never know exists.

External resources
Not Ihsan Standard’s software, but worth pointing your org toward when the need is outside our scope.

AMCF
American Muslim Community Foundation — helps Muslim nonprofits get started receiving tax-deductible donations via fiscal sponsorship (before you have 501(c)(3) status), runs shariah-compliant Donor Advised Funds, and supports endowment building. The rest of the network
The same Ihsan ledger powers two more public surfaces: the map any Muslim can open to find the nearest masjid or halal business, and the supply-chain unifier that turns the verified business directory into a working procurement layer.
Network surface · live
NoorMap — the public map of Muslim spaces.
A public map any Muslim can open to find the nearest masjid, halal grocery, or Islamic school — 6,000+ verified pins, built on the same 50,000+-entity Ihsan ledger that powers this site. Audited masjids and businesses get brighter pins and the audit badge surfaced automatically.
- →Every Ihsan listing automatically surfaces on the map.
- →Audited orgs sort to the top, audit badge visible at a glance.
