Group Procurement
Ihsan Standard has a technical team — so the cohort does two things at once. We pool buying power to reach volume pricing no single org qualifies for on its own, and we build or run shared technical solutions for the problems every org has: payments, hosting, analytics, CRM, email. One cheaper solution to a shared problem, run for the whole network.
It’s also a clean way off vendors the network is moving away from — like Wix, on the boycott list — and off expensive site builders, without anyone having to become their own sysadmin. Free to opt in during the pilot; no lock-in.
How it works
- 1
Tell us what you need
Sign in with UmmahPassport SSO and flag which shared solutions you'd use — a payments rate, hosting, analytics, the CRM, email sending.
- 2
We reach the threshold
Once enough orgs want a given solution, the combined volume unlocks the discounted rate — or justifies standing the shared tool up.
- 3
You onboard
We admit and vet participating orgs, set up the shared account or hand you access to the hosted tool. You're onboarded at the cohort's rate or access for that solution.
What we run together
Five shared solutions for the back-office stack. Where the cohort’s combined volume unlocks a better third-party rate, we administer the shared account; where our technical team can run a cheaper thing directly, we operate it.
Payments
Shared account · pooled volumePool everyone's processing volume into one account.
Processors like Helcim and Stax price by total volume — alone, a single masjid or nonprofit pays retail. The plan: admit orgs into one Ihsan-administered account so the cohort's combined volume qualifies us for far better pricing than any org could reach on its own, with every participating org riding that rate. Exact account structure and fund flow are being confirmed with the processors before any rate is promised.

Shared AWS account · locked-in savings planYour site and infrastructure on shared, reserved capacity.
Ihsan Standard would run a shared AWS account on a locked-in savings plan — reserved capacity bought in bulk at a steep discount. Orgs whose sites rarely change get a fast, secure home for less than a typical paid site-builder plan, and a clean way off Wix (on the boycott list) or pricey builders like Squarespace — without anyone becoming their own sysadmin.

We host itPrivacy-first analytics, run on the shared infrastructure.

Shared tool — MīzānMīzān instead of per-seat mainstream CRMs.
Skip the per-seat pricing of conventional nonprofit CRMs. Mīzān is built for the network — native zakāt fidelity, per-donation tracking, and donor transparency — free for the pilot and for small orgs.
Email marketing
We build itNewsletters and donor email on a custom sender.
Mainstream email tools charge by contact count and climb fast. Ihsan Standard sets partners up on a Resend- or Amazon SES-backed sender, priced by send volume instead of contact count — a fraction of the per-contact cost, with deliverability managed on dedicated sending domains.

Pilot — the exact onboarding and account mechanics for each solution are being finalized as the cohort forms. Rates and tooling scale with how many orgs opt in.
